Powers and Functions of the House of Common

British Parliament is one of the oldest legislature in the world. it is also known as the "Mother of Parliaments". it is called as the supreme legislative authority of the England. British Parliament do anything except who is physically impossible Such as to Declare the Women as Man and Man as Women British Parliament in the current time is House of Common

The Following of the Powers and Functions of the House of Common are as under:-


LEGISLATIVE POWERS:

British Parliament hold a Unique and Supreme power in the legislative commands of the United Kingdom. The Legislative Powers elevated in the hands of the House of Commons after the Parliament Act of 1911. The Court of Law in England have no authority to declare ultravires and unconstitutional  to the statutes and precedents passed by the House of Common. Nutshell House of Commons hold a Complete auditory in legislative matters of the state. 

MONEY BILL

House of Commons Holds a Excellence Power in the Nations Purse. Apropos the parliament Act of 1911 all the Money Bills must be originated in the House of Common. On the other hand House of Lords have a nutshell authorities to exercise their powers in respect of Money Bill. means House of Lords not hold any Bill more than the period of one Month if they failed to pass the Bill so the house of Common may send and forward it for his assent to the competent authority. from the above mentioned titels one thing is clear that the house of Common played a main role in respect of Money Bills. 

CONTROL OVER THE EXECUTIVE     

The third main function of the House of Common is to control over the executive. because in England they have parliament form of the governemnt so therefore whole of the executive are responsible before the poopular chamber of the house of Common/British Parliament..
